When the State Weaponizes Children
and the trans crusade.
It’s been a while, but I have been focusing on my kids and homeschooling. Lately, we have been preparing for chickens and building a garden before we are too deep into spring. In other words, I have been actively trying to keep my eyes off of the atrocity that is Washington States legislative session.
Something doesn’t sit right though and it mostly stems from the idea that gender-affirming care should be a protected medical procedure. Then, we should allow children to hide this procedure from their parents so much so, that if the child runs away, parents shouldn’t be notified if their kid is found if that child is trying to obtain gender-affirming care. Of course, this applies to abortion too because abortion is the more passable of the two. I don’t know if parents understand all of the horrors of “gender-affirming” care and I am not sure that their knowledge would make a whole lot of difference in the trajectory of the trans movement.
There is something more devious at play though, and I wonder if people are paying attention to this enough yet; the focus on student/children's “voices.” I’m not implying a child's opinion or experience doesn’t matter, because it does. What is problematic is when the state is using our children as the catalyst of destruction in society. Kids don’t understand the long-term implications of rules and consequences, nor do they understand the long-term implications of HRT, “top surgery,” or other “gender-affirming” procedures. This is going to come out with Chloe Cole vs Kaiser Permanente. Kids also don’t understand that they are being groomed to be Social Justice activists™ from a young age, in school (SEL/EDI), and then asked what they want to see in their schools and are encouraged to come to school board meetings on behalf of clubs like GSA to speak against dissenting parents and other adults. Children are also ruling the schools in other, more violent ways, and with the current restorative practices, there is no real punishment.
I am solutions based and want real solutions to these problems. Homeschool is my solution. I think another thing that we really need to focus on is talking to our friends, family, and neighbors about the state of our children’s welfare and what that means for the next generation. What do you want for your children? Do you want them to be wards of the state because they feel like they want to follow the trans-trend or “disconnect” from you because they deemed you “toxic” after watching a Jeffery Marsh video on TikTok? Understand that the schools, the medical system, and the state is trying to make parents the enemy of their kids. #notmyhome #notmykids
